Chaparral Park in Turtle Rock, Irvine, located adjacent to the Bonita Canyon elementary school, features a broad green swath of grassy fields and shaded areas with sidewalks, picnic tables, and a playground for leisurely family enjoyment. In the back corner of the park, a set of stairs ascends through a beautiful arch shaped tunnel of greenery, leading to steep hiking trails on a hill which overlooks the city, with many beautiful vantage points.
