Created in 1976 to accentuate the community of WoodBridge, the Woodbridge North lake (and its South Lake counterpart) were dug to an average depth of 5 feet, lined with clay, and kept sparkling fresh by an infusion of fresh water, fountains, circulating pumps and skimmers. Cleaned regularly by association staff to cut down on algae and residue build-up, and stocked with fish The north lake spans an area of 30 acres and is surrounded with pedestrian paths that cross over the lake on wooden bridges.
